While visiting Patmos, you will get the chance to visit the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian and the Cave of the Apocalypse, both declared as World Heritage sites. St John was exiled here and lived in a cave where he reputedly wrote the last book of the New Testament, the Book of Revelations, known as the Apocalypse.
